The unforgettable night....

At around 11 PM, the fog blanketed the night. The visibility was down to mere 10 meters. Nikita loved this weather. When the cold mist drenched her skin with moisture, she would stay up in the night till late. She lived with her husband in one of the most posh colonies of South Delhi. Her husband, Suhas was a handsome man. With his six feet muscular frame, he was a womanizer. This was something no one could doubt. Nikita was aware about his short term flings but did not care about it. They were happily married couple now.

Suhas usually stayed out because of his business meetings. Nikita stayed at home, alone. She had not joined any of the kitty party clubs nor she had many of lady friends. She liked to live in tranquil. That night was no same for her. Nikita was dressed in crimson colored night-gown. It consisted of a large printed red rose near the waist line. She stepped into the kitchen to have a glass of milk as usual routine. After filling the glass with milk, she returned back to the couch in the living room. A midnight movie might kill the stress of loneliness.

She dug her back into the cushion. With weary hands, she picked up the remote to switch on the television. After about fifteen minutes of struggling with the gadget, she didn't find anything which could ease her aching nerves. Suddenly she heard some sort of churning voice. It was coming from the patio. Initially, she had a vague thought of it being some animal, maybe a cat or a dog roaming mischievously in the lawn. Stepping up from her comfort position, she slipped her feet in the slippers. She walked out of the house to check when the churning voice grew more.

Still after struggling for about ten minutes, she didn't find anything or anyone out there. At that time she was completely alone in the house. The night watchman stood there but he remained outside the gate only. There was a slight probability of any animal entering the patio as it was concealed impeccably with fences. Walking in the patio, she felt relaxed to the core. The fog hit her face softly, drenching it with pearl droplets. Ah! So lovely it is. She removed her slippers on one corner and started walking with her naked feet on the soft, damped grass. She closed her eyes to let the fog hug her more tightly.  Her hair fell like a waterfall when she removed the butterfly studded circular hair clip. She was enjoying the frost beneath her feet getting crushed by the soft touch.

At one edge of the patio stood someone. Hiding from her vision, the person donned a perfect camouflage. With the fog on his side, he knew that it was the right time. It was now or never situation which clouded his mind along with the rising fog. After few minutes of strolling, she approached the corner where stood her kidnapper. He waited for her like a hungry leopard ready to pounce upon its prey. Last thing was a painful scream taking Nikita with it. Soon it disappeared in the misty night, probably never to return.

  5. Oh, i didn't notice the 'to be continued' sign...just read the comments and realized...Even if you leave the story here, it pretty much makes for a plausible end...sometimes, open endings are best...let the reader decide who is the kidnapper.... ain't it ?

Why 3 Idiots is More Than Just Entertainment: Valuable Lessons for Personal Growth

3 Idiots is more than just a movie - it's a masterpiece that has managed to leave an impact on millions of people. From its heart touching dialogues to its amazing screenplay and relatable characters, this movie has managed to capture the hearts of many. As someone who has watched the movie several times, I can confidently say that it's one of the most inspiring movies out there. Here are some of the most important lessons that I have learned from watching 3 Idiots. Money Can't Buy You Happiness, Really? The age-old adage that "money can't buy happiness" is true, but there's a catch. Money can buy you the things that can make you happy. In other words, having more money can lead to a happier life to some extent. However, it's not necessary to have your own money to be happy. The character of Rancho, played by Aamir Khan, is a perfect example of this. For him, happiness was about gaining knowledge, and he was able to do that even though the money wasn
