One Saturday Night..........

Me at the Oberoi before the event started At evening time of the second Saturday in the month of May, the Ballroom of one of the most reputed hotels in the capital was preparing for an event. The event which was sponsored by Nokia and Indiblogger took me by surprise as one of the best evenings which I couldn't have ever imagined. Putting the ice on the cake the two most loved guests who really put the life in the event by their appearance arrived at the Ballroom.  The most loved guy among the females, master chef Vikas Khanna  and the technology columnist in HT Brunch, NDTV Anchor, Tech Guru and blogger Rajiv Makhni. 'Sir, I read your column every Sunday in HT Brunch. :)' The Indiblogger meet started with the energetic German 'Ich Will' song followed by the introductions. The whole surrounding was filled with the positive vibes. There were 6 activities planned out of which I liked the activity in which 4 participants were there and Raji

Book Review - How to get from where you are to where you want to Be by Jack Canfield

25 Principles of Success by Jack Canfield Title :- How to Get from Where You are to Where You Want to B: The 25 Principles of Success Author :- Jack Canfield Number of Pages :- 335 Publisher :- Harper Element Genre :- Non-Fiction My Verdict:- One of the most inspiring books I have read till now. The author of the Chicken soup for the soul series lists down 25 principles of achieving your goals and ultimately heading to your success. Jack Canfield has listed principles which are rather simple to follow and if one masters all of them or only few of them, they will be surprised by the outcomes.  While reading this book I gave a thought to my previous achievements which I had till now and surprisingly these principles are the only thing I followed when I correlated the things. Looking at the bigger picture, these principles will work for you if you are willing to stick to them. You will not be able to pursue all of them at the same time, but if you try f

Morning, Noon & Night by Sidney Sheldon - a review

Morning, Noon & Night by Sidney Sheldon Title :- Morning, Noon and Night Author :- Sidney Sheldon Number of Pages :- 375  Publisher :- Harper Collins Publishers Genre :- Fiction/Suspense My Verdict:- I ordered this book recently and in no way I was disappointed by the work of the author. Yes, this is another best works of Sidney Sheldon. The way the events and the planning is done before writing this book (I assume) is something that I applaud for. The book itself speaks louder than this review and I am sure that while reading this book, you will be surely drawn towards another world where you would be seeing the characters of the book in front of you. The book is divided in three parts and each part has its own significance. I liked the verse quoted by the author at the very beginning of the book which I would like to re-quote here again: Allow the morning sun to warm Your heart when you are young And let the soft winds of noon Cool you
